The cityscape of the 9th district is a genuine change of scenery from the usual Budapest. Old factories, new apartment buildings, wide streets and Nosh café — together with their pizza joint Pizziozo — make for a completely different kind of brunch experience.

But atmosphere isn’t everything. The espresso was excellent: Nosh has its own specialty coffee blend, roasted exclusively for them by 42 Coffee.

The brunch and snack menu is varied, and the drinks list is regularly updated with seasonal additions.

The chain already has three locations, two of which are right here in the 9th district. Those are the ones we recommend — the neighbourhood makes even the most ordinary lunch feel like something more.
